You need an account for most activities on our platform, including enrolling in learning content and using subscription features. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it current.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not transfer your account or share credentials. We may require identity verification before granting account access requests.
Users must meet the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you are below that age, you may not create or use an account.
2. Content Enrollment and Access
When you enroll in course or exam-prep content, Metaschool grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that content through our Services for personal, non-commercial educational use.
Content is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works without written permission from Metaschool.
Access may be removed where required by law, policy, licensing constraints, or safety and compliance obligations.
3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds
By making a purchase, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, and charges.
Pricing may vary by geography, platform, campaign, or account status. We may run promotions with limited windows and eligibility criteria.
Where offered, refund eligibility windows, exclusions, and method of refund (original payment method or account credit) are governed by the specific product policy shown at checkout.
We may deny refunds for abuse, fraud, excessive consumption before refund request, policy breaches, or account misconduct.
4. Content and Behavior Rules
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
You are responsible for all content you post, upload, or submit, including reviews, comments, assignments, and messages.
- Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights.
- Do not impersonate others or submit misleading information.
- Do not post abusive, hateful, sexual, violent, or unlawful material.
- Do not attempt to bypass safeguards, moderation, or access controls.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal conduct to relevant authorities when required.
5. Metaschool's Rights to Content You Post
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting or submitting content through the Services, you grant Metaschool a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with right to sublicense) to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the Services.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit the content and grant the above license.
6. Using Metaschool at Your Own Risk
Our marketplace and learning platform may include third-party content, instructor input, or external links. We do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or suitable for your goals.
You are responsible for how you apply information obtained through the Services and for your interactions with other users and third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, providers, or advertisements you access via links in our Services.
7. Metaschool's Rights
Metaschool and its licensors own all rights in the platform, software, design, logos, trademarks, and non-user content. These Terms do not grant rights to use our brand assets.
You may not, without permission:
- access non-public systems or technical infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape our Services;
- interfere with security, performance, or availability;
- send deceptive source-identifying information;
- use bots or automation beyond authorized APIs and terms.
8. Subscription Terms
Subscription plans grant time-limited access to eligible content and features while your subscription is active.
Subscriptions renew automatically by billing cycle unless canceled before renewal. You can cancel in your account settings, and access typically remains until the end of the paid period.
We may adjust prices, plans, and included features with notice as required by law. Taxes may apply based on your location.
We may suspend or terminate subscription access for failed payments, chargebacks, fraud, or policy violations.
9. Generative AI Terms
Some Services include AI-powered features. You may submit inputs and receive outputs for educational use subject to these Terms and applicable product rules.
- Do not submit sensitive personal data unless explicitly permitted.
- Do not use outputs to mislead, harm, harass, or violate rights.
- Do not represent AI output as professional advice without verification.
- Do not use AI features to train competing models or products.
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them.
10. Exam Vouchers
Where offered, exam vouchers are redeemable only with designated third-party providers and are subject to voucher-specific rules and expiry dates.
Unless required by law, vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash or credit.
Metaschool does not control exam provider policies, scheduling availability, or certification outcomes.
11. Coaching Services
Coaching sessions are delivered by instructors or facilitators and are for educational purposes only. They do not create professional advisor-client relationships.
You are responsible for your behavior during sessions and for maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment.
Unless otherwise specified by the booking policy, late cancellations or no-shows may be ineligible for refund.
12. Miscellaneous Legal Terms
These Terms, along with policies referenced in them (including our Privacy Policy), form the entire agreement between you and Metaschool for use of the Services.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of future enforcement.
To the extent allowed by law, Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, Metaschool is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you and Metaschool agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution by contacting support and providing a written summary of the dispute.
If unresolved, disputes may proceed in small claims court where eligible, or in binding individual arbitration where applicable. Class or representative actions are not permitted except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.
For users outside the United States and Canada, unless mandatory local law states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Accra, Ghana.
For users in the United States or Canada, Section 13 arbitration language applies as described in these Terms.
14. Updating These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or product changes. When material changes are made, we will provide notice through the Services and/or your account email. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
